The
Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens
provide community leadership for the development and
active use of the Guadalupe River Park &
Gardens through education, advocacy and
stewardship.
Guadalupe
River Park is a three-mile ribbon of parkland that
runs along the banks of the Guadalupe River in the
heart of downtown San Jose from Highway 880 at the
north, to Highway 280 at the south. It is a resource
of regional importance to the people of Santa Clara
County and the Bay Area.
The
Friends are continually involved in completing the
master plans for both the park and gardens, creating
educational programs for children and adults,
promoting awareness of the Park & Gardens, and
developing membership and volunteer opportunities to
increase public support and involvement.

Creek
Connections Action Group
The
goal of the Creek
Connections Action Group (CCAG) is to
collaborate creek cleanup efforts in Santa Clara
County. Since the CCAG's inception, thousands of
volunteers have participated in hundreds of cleanups,
removing thousands of pounds of trash each year from
creeks, rivers and lakes.
The
Watershed Watch campaign is now part of this
grassroots effort as a co-sponsor of CCAG's Spring and
Fall creek cleanup events.

Gilroy
Gardens, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization,
is California’s only horticultural theme park
designed for garden lovers as well as families with
young children. The Park features over 40 rides and
attractions, including majestic gardens, educational
exhibits, and the world famous Circus Trees. In
addition to learning about watersheds, guests can
learn about bees, trees, butterflies and countless
other environmental resources while enjoying great
rides and attractions throughout the park. Gilroy
